学校が終わって、ピクニックに行くことになりました。

After school, they planned to go on a picnic.

のんびり楽しもうと思っていた矢先、友達の１人、イルカくんが「もっと楽しもうゼ」とボートを乗っ取り、１人でサーフィン！！

When they were expecting a good time on a boat, one of their friends, a Dolphin, hijacked the boat, saying, "Let's do more exciting things!" He enjoyed boat surfing by himself.

せっかくのんびりゆられながらおしゃべりしようとしていたエビくんやさかなくんは「イルカくん、ひどい！　今日はもう帰るよ」

A Prawn, a Fish and other friends had expected to have a chat in a gently swaying boat. They got angry, "You are a bad boy, Dolphin! We go home now."

イルカくんはみんなが楽しんでくれると思ってやったのでした。校長先生がその話をきいて言いました。「自分がやりたいこととみんなのやりたいことが違ったんだね。そのことをきちんとみんなに話せば大丈夫。さあ、やってみよう」

The Dolphin did that thing to please them. The Principal heard all the details and told the Dolphin, "What you wanted to do was different from what they wanted to do. So, tell them precisely why you did such a thing. They will understand that you were not unkind to them."

次の日、校長先生に促され、みんなのもとへ行くと、みんなちゃあんと分かってました。

Next morning, when the Dolphin, urged by the Principal, went to them, they already knew everything!
