Nomad International's activities are centered around our "Library Projects" in Thailand, Georgia, Russia and Serbia-Montenegro.
Aiming to improve on the current poor reading environment in the rural areas of northern Thailand and to provide children and local people with opportunities to become familiar with books, Nomad helps to build libraries and send books, and implements programs for promoting reading books.

In Georgia, which has been in economic difficulties since its independence from the former Soviet Union, Nomad helps improve the standard of the buildings which house children’s library and provides the necessary Georgian books for the children.

Although Japanese language is studied extensively in some regions, including Russia, Georgia, and Serbia-Montenegro, Japanese language study materials are lacking. Nomad develops Japanese language study materials and distributes them to these areas.
Aiming
to improve the educational environment worldwide...
In addition to our present activities, we
support education in other ways and other
places. We are preparing to widen the scope
of our operations. For example, we are looking
into narrowing the "digital divide" in Thailand
and other countries, and also examining exchange
possibilities within Japan.
